Timed Water Softener With Head 255 / Logix 742 GE OSMONICS
The softener contains a strong cationic resin, which traps calcium and magnesium cations from the water passing through, thus producing soft water.
The resin does not need to be replaced, it is simply regenerated automatically with salt water when the softener has processed the amount of water it is programmed for.
The softening system requires minimal personal involvement, i.e. filling the softener's brine tank with salt and periodic maintenance.
